Welcome to the documentation of PA Media's Content API!

The PA Media (formally Press Association) is the national news agency for the UK and Ireland and a leading multimedia content provider across web, mobile, broadcast and print. Since 1868 PA has been providing fast, accurate feeds of text, data, photos and video. Today the business is increasingly focused on the delivery of complete products for both digital and print clients.

PA's news reporters file hundreds of stories every day, from big breaking news to showbiz and quirky human interest stories. In sport, it is at the centre of the key action, reporting matches and races and breaking the big stories that the fans will be talking about.

Content API represents the next generation of PA Media's APIs. It encapsulates both the breadth and depth of PA Media’s vast content set, providing a single point of access for all content.

Content API is available in JSON (IPTC Ninjs compliant), ATOM and RSS format and can be configured by a rich entitlement model.
